Stat tests[edit]

Using a mod I made a decision that gives generals with a specific amount of tradition. --Evil4Zerggin (talk) 02:32, 4 September 2013 (CEST)

0 Tradition[edit]

100 generals:

Skill 6 5 4 3 2 1 0
Fire 0 0 4 9 21 35 31
Shock 0 0 0 7 19 46 28
Maneuver 0 0 2 8 25 30 35
Siege 0 0 0 0 3 36 61

1000 generals:

Skill 6 5 4 3
Fire 0 7 22 n/a
Shock 2 5 34 n/a
Maneuver 0 0 17 n/a
Siege 0 0 0 8

1000 conquistadors:

Skill 6 5 4 3
Fire 0 2 27 n/a
Shock 0 2 20 n/a
Maneuver 0 4 21 n/a
Siege 0 0 2 50

4000 leaders nearly hung the game. I got at least one 6 in Fire, Shock, and Manuever, and a handful of 4s in Siege, but no 5.

100 Tradition[edit]

100 generals:

Skill 6 5 4 3 2 1 0
Fire 6 10 30 27 17 10 0
Shock 6 16 26 30 14 8 0
Maneuver 10 10 19 35 21 4 1
Siege 0 1 6 17 43 27 6

100 conquistadors:

Skill 6 5 4
Fire 5 16 n/a
Shock 11 6 n/a
Maneuver 15 14 n/a
Siege 0 2 4

1000 generals:

Skill 6 5 1 0
Fire n/a n/a n/a 12
Shock n/a n/a n/a 16
Maneuver n/a n/a n/a 6
Siege 0 6 n/a 86

After 2000 more draws I got a siege 6 conquistador.

200 Tradition[edit]

Yes, this is possible via event! (Can't go below zero, though, since negative numbers indicate a female leader, not negative tradition.)

100 generals:

Skill 6 5 4 3
Fire 71 17 12 0
Shock 61 22 14 1
Maneuver 82 10 5 3
Siege 16 27 34 23

In 5000 leaders, there were only five Fire/Shock/Maneuver of 2.

Modifiers[edit]

With e.g. +1 Leader Shock it is impossible to get a skill of 0 in Shock. So it looks like leader skill modifiers are indeed a straight shift. --Evil4Zerggin (talk) 21:38, 21 December 2013 (CET)

Commentary[edit]

Very interesting! Siege = especially strange.--General Baker Great Britain.png (Talk | Contribs) 02:45, 4 September 2013 (CEST)

So it doesn't appear that conquistadors have lower skill than generals. --Evil4Zerggin (talk) 03:21, 4 September 2013 (CEST)

Rulers & military skill[edit]

Does their military monarch skill play any part in determining ruler-general skills? Or is it still determined by army tradition?--General Baker Great Britain.png (Talk | Contribs) 17:28, 2 November 2013 (CET)

1.10: Pips for Conquistadores/Explorers, Generals/Admirals[edit]

Considering the 1.10 patch has now slightly lowered the pips of conquistadors and explorers, I did some testing. Here are the results:

Conquistadors, 100 Tradition
Skill 0 1 2 3 4 5 6
Fire 1 14 23 29 18 12 3
Shock 2 10 23 22 24 9 3
Maneuver 1 17 25 25 20 11 1
Siege 21 43 25 9 1 1 0

I'll be doing generals and admirals eventually, 100 and 0 tradition, as I think Mapleyy said the 1.1 ones Ziggley did were out of date? I'm unsure whether explorers are necessary, as they'll nearly definitely be the same pip averages as Conquistadores. Once done, I'll update the main page as well as give some stats (averages, dif. in generals/conquistadors etc) --TheWinner (talk) 14:08, 3 March 2015 (CET)

I did some testing yesterday and found results which deviated a rather lot from Ziggley's at 0 tradition (albeit a sample of 100 isn't very comprehensive in the first place); I'll see if I can gather some stats for generals and admirals as well. Mapleyy (talk) 14:55, 3 March 2015 (CET)
